Clothing, fabrics and sewing techniques have always given me energy.
When I was six, I knew I wanted to change the seamline in my nightgown to give it more of a ruffle in the front. When I was sixteen, I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer. Somehow, I convinced myself there is no way that is possible, and my dream ended pretty early. But when I shopped, I still picked up the garments and said, "Could I make this?"
The elements of fashion; design, fabric selection, how and where clothing is constructed are as important as the finished product. I built this website to build a brand that is not only a great collection of clothing but to serve as a resource for those that look for answers to, "How can I?"
As a mom of four, it is important that my children know that dreams should be chased. I hope that my journey inspires them to go after their own visions.
New resources will be added periodically as I continue to develop them. In the meantime, feel free to drop me a line and let me know your thoughts or suggestions at email@example.com
